CHEVY CHASE, MARYLAND – Responding to growthin its property portfolio and construction and development activities, shopping center leasing, management, and development company JBG Rosenfeld Retail (JBGR) recently added two, new faces to its team of real estate professionals, as well as promoted five staff members in various departments from within the company’s ranks.  David Wagner and Cynthia Porter joined the JBGR team last month, stepping into the roles of senior vice president of construction and development and controller, respectively.

 

Wagner, who came to JBGR from multi-family developer Post Properties, is responsible for all activities related to the on-time/on-budget completion of construction and development projects at JBGR, in addition to providing construction-related guidance on potential acquisitions, risk management issues, and program management.  A 20-year veteran of the industry, he also has held planning and operational roles for Bozzuto & Associates and Clark Construction Group.  Wagner holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, and is an active member of  Washington, DC’s The Real Estate Group.

 

In her role as controller, Porter is responsible for managing all the property accounting functions for the JBGR portfolio.  Prior to joining JBGR, she served as an associate director with Tishman Speyer, and held multiple positions, including regional controller, for other real estate management and investment firms, including ING Clarion Partners, Time Square Real Estate Investors, and CIGNA Real Estate Investment Management.  Porter holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College, and an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford.

JBGR management also promoted Rhonda Brown, Krista DiIaconi, John Mitchell, Carter Davis, and Dee Singletary in recent weeks to take on increased responsibility within the company.  Brown was promoted from vice president to senior vice president of accounting; DiIaconi from vice president to senior vice president of development and acquisitions; Mitchell from senior leasing director to vice president; Davis from acquisitions and development associate to vice president; and Singletary from leasing assistant to marketing coordinator.
